CTOnews.com, September 25 (Xinhua)-- the 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch model has become the longest-selling model of its kind today, and there are signs that Apple plans to release a new iPad Pro device as early as October.

In April 2021, Apple launched new iPad Pro 12.9-inch and 11-inch models with M1 chips, Thunderbolt ports, 5G connections, centered portraits and larger mini-LED displays. They are still on sale.

As of today, the 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch model has been on sale for 513 days, one day more than the previous longest-running small iPad Pro model, the 2016 iPad Pro 9.7in. The 2021 iPad Pro 12.9in model is 59 days shorter than the 2015 first-generation iPad Pro 12.9in. This is because the first-generation iPad Pro launched the 12.9-inch model in November 2015, and the iPad Pro released 9.7in in March 2016 four months later.

CTOnews.com has learned that 2022 new iPad Pro models are expected to be released at the Apple event as early as October. Several major retailers, including Optus and Logitech, have revealed that Apple is preparing to launch a new iPad Pro model. The next generation of iPad Pro models are expected to be equipped with M2 chips, MagSafe wireless charging, two new four-pin connectors at the top and bottom edges, and camera upgrades.
