International roaming for cellular Apple Watch models, Apple will soon introduce support for international roaming. Apple said it had reached agreements with 30 carrier partners to support the feature, including Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in the US, Three and O2 in the UK, and international operators including China Mobile, Movistar and Softbank Corp.. This feature depends on Apple's new Home architecture, a separate update in Home apps, and will be available in software updates later this year. Oceanic+ Ocean App (Apple Watch Ultra) Oceanic+, developed by Apple and third-party company Huish Outdoors, is a built-in submersible computer designed for Apple Watch Ultra devices. As a free application on App Store, Oceanic+ will include depth tracking (including depth alerts), GPS tracking, logging (up to 12 dives), snorkeling, etc.

For more advanced diving options, such as no stress relief restrictions, users will need to buy an Oceanic+ subscription plan ($4.99,9.99 per month or $79 per year). Oceanic+ will be available on App Store later this fall.

The low Power Mode (Apple Watch Ultra) Apple Watch Ultra has the longest battery life of any Apple Watch, up to 36 hours during normal use. However, Apple is developing a new low-power setting that can extend battery life to up to 60 hours on a single charge.

Apple said the expected battery life is based on scene usage in low-power mode and enables exercise settings to reduce heart rate and GPS readings: 15 hours of exercise, more than 600 time checks, 35 minutes of app use, 3 minutes of phone calls, and 15 hours of sleep tracking, more than 60 hours. Apple said low-power settings for reduced GPS and heart rate readings will be launched later this fall.
