According to technews in Taiwan, people in the industry pointed out that the move did not have much impact on Hon Hai's overall production capacity, because Hon Hai itself is the main contract manufacturer of Apple's iPhone Pro series, but for Lixun Precision, poor sales of iPhone 14 standard edition is undoubtedly a big impact, which will affect subsequent revenue and profits.

People in the industry said that Lixun Precision did not get the NPI (New Product Introduction) of the four new phones launched by Apple this year, and was only the second supplier of iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Those who get NPI can not only ship goods first, but also get more orders. However, due to Lixun Precision did not get the NPI, in the face of customers' upcoming order adjustment, the order share is expected to be even lower.

As for the iPhone 14 Plus part, industry personages further analyzed that it was originally used as a low-cost large-size equipment, due to lack of materials, panel supply problems, resulting in shipping delays. The popularity of the iPhone 14 Pro series means that the customer's product differentiation strategy has been affected, which is not good news for Lixun Precision.

Of course, Lixun Precision not only produces iPhone, but also actively strives for wearable products in Apple's business. However, industry insiders believe that according to IDC statistics, demand for wearable products has slowed, with shipments falling 6.9% year-on-year to 107.4 million units in the second quarter, and wearable product profits are relatively low.

CTOnews.com learned that industry insiders pointed out that with the shift of customer sales strategy and poor sales of iPhone 14 standard edition, Lixun Precision is "the first to bear the brunt" and may face the risk of revising orders, which in turn will impact subsequent revenue and profits.
