CTOnews.com, Sept. 24, according to the Wall Street Journal, Ford delayed the delivery of some vehicles due to the supply chain because they were not equipped with blue oval marks.

Ford has encountered supply constraints in terms of brand logos and nameplates that indicate the model, according to sources. These two parts are installed in the car body, which is an important logo of Ford products.

CTOnews.com learned that a Ford spokesman confirmed that the company had suspended shipments of some vehicles due to a lack of labels. In addition, sources say supply shortages are affecting Ford's popular F-Series pickup.

Ford executives have considered workarounds, such as printing them in 3D before obtaining permanent marks, but they feel that the printed substitutes are not up to standard, according to sources. Ford declined to comment on the 3D printing proposal.
