CTOnews.com Sept. 24, Berlin Rail Transit Technology Exhibition Innotrans is the most important and comprehensive railway and rail transit industry achievement exhibition in the world, hosted by Berlin International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (Messe Berlin GmbH).

CTOnews.com learned that the exhibition will be held every two years at the Berlin International Exhibition Center, and this year is the 13th. Innotrans Berlin Rail Transit Technology Exhibition, as a well-known global rail transit exhibition, attracts many international enterprises every year.

At the conference, Francois Davenne, Director-General of UIC (International Union of Railways), shared the trend and practical experience of digital transformation in the global track industry, and proposed FRMCS as a follow-up product of GSM-R, which provides an upgrading plan for the development of next-generation railway mobile communications and realizes the digital transformation of the railway industry.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Huawei held the 9th Huawei Global track Summit on September 22 to discuss the trends and challenges of smart track development and look forward to the future of rail transit. Huawei announced the Future Railway Mobile Communication system solution (FRMCS) at the conference, which aims to help the industry to build a more secure, efficient and intelligent railway mobile communication system.

In addition, Huawei also brought solutions and products in the rail industry at the InnoTrans show, including ICT infrastructure, green energy solutions, smart urban rail and smart railway solutions, which aim to reshape the full rail connection and enable the industry to develop safely, intelligently, and sustainably.
