As the world's first pure supercapacitor-powered ferry, the "New Ecology" ferry has pure electric power and zero emissions. The "New Ecology" ferry can sail for an hour in 15 minutes, saving about 500 tons of fuel a year. Thanks to its pure electric power, the New Ecology ferry is much quieter than an ordinary diesel ship.

With a total length of 65m, a width of 14.5m and a depth of 4.3m, the New Ecology is by far the largest passenger ferry in the world equipped with full rotary thrusters and super capacitor power, with an output power of 2000 kilowatts and a speed of 12 knots. the ship can accommodate 165passengers and 30 family cars (or 14 5-ton standard cars) at the same time, and will then sail at the ferries of Changxing Island and Hengsha Island.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, China's first 120TEU pure electric inland river container ship was launched on August 8. The ship uses lithium iron phosphate battery, which is driven by pure battery, which can replace 500 tons of fuel oil and reduce harmful gas emissions by 1520 tons per year.
