Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the clue delivery of affectionate Sam and Daniel Wu in South China! CTOnews.com, September 24 (Xinhua)-- A beta video of R Star's much-anticipated game masterpiece "GTA6" was leaked online over the weekend, causing a sensation in the industry and becoming the most important game leak in history. Surprisingly, however, the man behind the leak was only a 17-year-old teenager.

London police reported that they had arrested a 17-year-old hacker suspected of a cyber attack in Oxfordshire and said he was still in detention, but did not release any other details.

The police declined to give details of the case, but many of the details coincided with recent high-profile hacking activities. Reporter Matthew Keys quoted a person familiar with the matter as saying that the arrest is related to the recent Rockstar hacking incident, may also be related to Uber security vulnerabilities.

This spring, London police also arrested and released seven teenagers linked to the Lapsus$ hacker group. Today's arrest also comes days after two security breaches believed to be linked to Lapsus$, the most famous of which was the leak of an early video of Grand Theft Auto 6 due to a "cyber breach".

It is reported that the hacker group Lapsus$ has been involved in a number of hacking incidents since the end of last year, following attacks on many technology companies, including Microsoft, Samsung, Nvidia and Ubisoft. The hacker group has said that its main target is money, which is neither political nor sponsored by anyone.

CTOnews.com has reported that R Star previously admitted that "GTA6" had been compromised, but said it would not have a long-term impact on its ongoing project.

In March, Bloomberg reported that a 16-year-old teenager was behind several of the group's major attacks and that police had investigated his home near Oxford in Oxfordshire, England.

In addition, Uber (UBER), an American taxi-hailing App, also said that he was recently attacked by Lapsus$ and is now in contact with the Federal Bureau of investigation and the US Department of Justice.

In a statement after the Uber vulnerability, the company wrote on its blog: "We believe that the attacker belongs to a hacker group called Lapsus$, which has become more and more active over the past year or so." and the whistleblower of "GTA 6" claimed in the forum post that it was the same person in the Uber attack.

The City of London police declined to share other details.
