Tesla has begun sending invitations to selected customers and supporters to participate in its annual Artificial Intelligence (AI) Day event scheduled for September 30, 2022.

At that time, Tesla will announce its latest advances in artificial intelligence, including fully autonomous driving (FSD), humanoid robots, artificial intelligence training Dojo D1 chips and more, the company said. In addition to sharing new advances in artificial intelligence, Tesla often uses the event to attract new engineering talent to work for the company.

Tesla's FSD system has been tested for nearly two years now. Currently, the system is tested by more than 100,000 people. Tesla hopes to gradually approach Level 5 autonomous driving by refining its FSD beta.

In early September, Tesla officially raised the price of FSD systems in North America from $12000 to $15000, up 25%.

Tesla's humanoid robot debuted at Tesla AI Day in August 2021 and will also appear at Tesla AI Day on September 30 this year.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the robot is close to an adult in height and weight, can carry or carry heavy objects, can walk in small steps, and the screen on its face is an interactive interface with people. The robot was originally positioned to replace people in repetitive, boring and dangerous jobs, but the vision is to make it serve families, such as cooking, mowing lawns and caring for the elderly.

Musk is developing plans to deploy thousands of humanoid robots in his Texas superfactory and eventually millions of humanoid robots worldwide.

At last year's AI Day event, Tesla unveiled its latest AI training chip, Dojo D1. Fabricated on TSMC's 7nm process, the chip integrates up to 50 billion transistors, half the size of Intel Ponte Vecchio computing chips.
