Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the Lane maintenance Assistant system (LTA) control program for vehicles within the scope of the recall through remote upgrade (OTA) technology, so that users can upgrade the program without going to the store. For vehicles that cannot be recalled through remote vehicle upgrade (OTA) technology, customers will be contacted to the store through a Lexus dealer to upgrade the vehicle lane maintenance assist system (LTA) control program free of charge to eliminate safety concerns.

In addition, Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has recalled 6491 imported Lexus NX 260s from April 19, 2021 to July 15, 2022 starting from September 28, 2022.

Due to improper programming of abnormal detection in the power circuit of the electric parking brake system (EPB) in the brake actuator control unit (ECU), the vehicle within the scope of this recall mistook the short response delay in the circuit for abnormal, which may cause the warning light to light up. At this time, if you have parked, you can not release the parking state, if you do not park, you can not use EPB for parking, there are hidden dangers.
