CTOnews.com Sept. 23, according to Steam official news, Steam launched a new game statistics page, which lists the rankings of Steam's hottest games in real-time form, and integrates weekly hot sales, monthly hottest products, Steam hardware surveys, download statistics and other lists, so that players can more easily view all kinds of information.

This new column replaces the "Statistics" page on Steam and makes it easier to get an overview of the hottest content on Steam. The new list of best-selling products is ranked by total sales, including DLC sales and in-game trading. Steam is applying this new method of revenue calculation to various lists throughout the Steam store, including the Steam home page, the game type page, and the "best-selling items" tab on the tab page.

List overview page

The new Steam list overview page simply shows which games are selling well, which games have the most visitors, and how many players are currently online. In addition, there are links that can quickly jump to the latest weekly and monthly lists. You can also find links to Steam hardware surveys, download statistics, and customer service statistics on this page.

Real-time best-selling goods list

Steam-wide real-time "best-selling goods" columns on various pages have been around for more than a decade, and even individual tags, types and themes have their own lists of best-selling items. Players can still find these lists on a single tag or type page, or they can go directly to the search page on Steam and choose to sort by best-selling items. Today's update builds on previous practices, but there are some significant improvements in the view of the Steam list:

Number of weeks in a row on the list

-We have added a game for the number of weeks on the best-selling list.

Weekly ranking change

-We have added a game ranking change (if any) compared to last week.

Area handover

-for the group of countries with the largest number of players on Steam, we provide a country-specific list of best-selling products by default, so as to reflect different customer interests in different regions. By default, if your country has an exclusive list, we will display your own list. However, if you are interested, you can always switch to the global list or the list of another country.

Total income

-this list shows the current sales of the game, taking into account all versions of the game (standard, deluxe, etc.) as well as DLC and intra-game transactions. If the sales of a DLC are high enough to make the list on its own, we will also add that DLC to the list, so that players will notice if the hot new game expansion pack is very popular.

List of the hottest games in real time

The hottest games list lists the top 100 games based on the current number of players, as well as the recent peak number of players for each game on the list. You can also switch to a list sorted by the number of players per day, which sorts games according to the total number of players that have not been repeated in the past 24 hours.

Weekly list of best-selling goods

The new weekly best-selling list lists the top 100 games by weekly revenue, starting and ending at 10:00 on Monday (PT). These lists show the number of weeks each game has been on the list in a row, as well as changes in rankings compared to last week.

You can easily check the list of the past few weeks to learn about the popular games you may miss. In fact, if you keep looking at past weekly lists, you can go all the way back to 2005, when only three games were sold on Steam. You can also go back to the week of March 27, when "PUBG PUBG" parachuted to the top of the list as soon as he landed on Steam.

Monthly list of the hottest new products

As of today, Steam has been making a monthly list of the hottest new products for more than a year. These monthly hottest new product lists will continue to be launched, but will move to a new location and coexist with other lists, making it easier to view the list in the past month.
