CTOnews.com Sept. 22, according to Apple's official website, the iPhone 14 Pro national version was ordered today and is expected to be shipped in 5-6 weeks, compared with 6-7 weeks for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The 6-7 weeks exceeded the average waiting time of last year's iPhone 13 Pro series, making it the longest "standby time" in Apple's history.

For Apple customers, the waiting time for the iPhone 14 Pro model is now four to six weeks, and is expected to increase in November.

Investment firm Wedbush sees demand for the iPhone 14 Pro series as encouraging, according to Apple Insider. Analysts Daniel Ives and John Katsingris believe that the iPhone 14 Pro portfolio has risen by 85 to 90 per cent at this stage of the cycle, while the iPhone 13 Pro portfolio has risen by about 60 to 65 per cent.

Overall demand tracking is 8 to 10 per cent higher than the company's expectations for iPhone 14 Pro. If demand continues at this rate during the Christmas holiday, Apple may face supply problems, and sales delivery is likely to continue until early 2023.

In fact, supplier Foxconn has been ordered to transfer some of its iPhone 14 production lines to iPhone 14 Pro models.

Sales in China are strong, and Wedbush believes that about 30% of Chinese iPhone users may upgrade to the iPhone 14 series. Retail servers in the region crashed as consumers placed more than 2 million orders for the iPhone 14 Pro series in the first 24 hours.

Earlier, other researchers showed that the demand for the iPhone 14 Pro Max exceeded that of the iPhone 13 Pro model in another way. Analysis by Morgan Stanley, an investment bank, shows that at a similar time after listing, of all the models released in the past six years, iPhone 14 Pro Max has the longest delivery cycle of 36.5days. However, the iPhone 14 Pro is the same as the iPhone 13 Pro model, at 29.5 days.

According to data recently shared by JPMorgan, the average delivery time for iPhone 14 Pro is 35 days and that for iPhone 14 Pro Max is 41 days.

Guo Mingyi: Apple asked Hon Hai Foxconn to switch its iPhone 14 production line to iPhone 14 Pro, and shipments of Pro models will increase by 10% in the fourth quarter.
