CTOnews.com learned that the Huhang section of the Hehang high-speed railway is led from the existing Huzhou station, through Huzhou South Taihu New District, Wuxing District, Deqing County, Hangzhou City Yuhang District, West Lake District, Fuyang District and Tonglu County, and is led to Tonglu station of the Hangzhou-Huangshan high-speed railway after crossing Fuchun River. The line has a total length of 129 kilometers and is designed at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are 6 stations in Huzhou, Deqing, Hangzhou West, Fuyang West, Tonglu East and Tonglu, among which Hangzhou West, Fuyang West and Tonglu East are newly built stations. Deqing Station has been expanded on the original basis, increasing from the original 2 platforms to 4 platforms for passengers, and increasing from 4 shares to 8 shares.

On the first day of the opening of the Huhang section of Hehang High-speed Railway, the railway department will operate 6 pairs of passenger trains. At the initial stage of operation, it is planned to arrange 19 pairs of passenger trains, of which 13 pairs will be added, mainly 1 pair from Hefei south to Hangzhou west, 2 pairs from Nanjing south to Huangshan north, 1 pair from Huangshan north to Nanjing south, 2 pairs from Hefei south to Qiandao Lake, 1 pair from Hangzhou west to Fuyang west, 1 pair from Hangzhou west to Yancheng, and 1 pair from Hangzhou west to Lianyungang. 1 pair from Hangzhou west to Qiandao Lake, 3 pairs from Hangzhou west to Huangshan north, 1 pair of train operation sections adjusted, 5 pairs of train operation routes adjusted (specific operation date shall be subject to station announcement).

China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. said that as a high-speed railway connecting Hangzhou and Huzhou, the Huhang section of Hehang High-speed Railway is an important supporting project for the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games and will provide strong transportation guarantee for the transportation service of Hangzhou Asian Games. The opening and operation of this line will further improve the Yangtze River Delta intercity railway network and the one-hour traffic circle in Zhejiang Province.
