In addition, Microsoft has announced that it will hold a new Surface product launch on October 12. Now, more leaks reveal the details of Surface's new product. Microsoft plans to change the choice of CPU processors for Surface Laptop 5, according to WinFuture.

It was previously revealed that Microsoft's Surface Pro and Pro X product lines were merged into a single device family, providing users with the option of choosing Intel or ARM processors. This is somewhat similar to Surface Laptop 4 using AMD and Intel CPU configuration options. However, Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 looks set to remove that privilege, leaving the device with only Intel's 12th-generation Curry processor.

But WinFuture says it's not 100% sure that Microsoft has decided to cut its AMD-based Surface laptop, which needs more observation.

Like other Surface updates, the upcoming Surface product will bring new colors. CTOnews.com learned that in addition to the current classic black and platinum, Microsoft also plans to launch Surface Pro 9's "Forest" (green) and "sapphire" (blue? ) Color matching. In terms of price, equipped with Intel Core i5-1235U, 8GB memory and 256GB SSD entry-level model Surface Pro 9 will be available in Europe for 1300 euros (about 9048 yuan). The basic 13-inch Surface Laptop 5 costs 1200 euros (about 8352 yuan) and the 15-inch version costs 1500 euros (about 10440 yuan).

For now, the latest report contradicts rumors that Microsoft is preparing a new Surface laptop based on Ryzen 6000.
