CTOnews.com, September 22, according to motor.es, Audi's small performance steel gun TT has confirmed that it will launch a pure electric version, and the new car will be based on the new PPE pure electric platform and adopt a more modern design style.

Audi's head, Markus Duesmann, said that the Audi TT will become a 100% pure electric model and maintain the driving fun it has always provided for users. Officials did not give a specific date for the launch of the new car, which is expected to wait until at least 2025.

Duesmann also said that the electric sports car will provide "a concept that is quite similar to the TT, but not necessarily its successor", so it is expected to be a more modern model with a very compact proportion and similar e-tron style.

CTOnews.com learned that the pure electric version of the TT will be based on the new "PPE" Premium electric vehicle platform and will have the same chassis structure as the future Porsche 718s. The power side has not yet been announced, and the PPE platform offers front or rear wheel drive and four-wheel drive options, so this is possible.
