CTOnews.com reported on September 22 that there was another problem with the Dark Soul 3 PC version of the server, and the game official announced today: "it has been confirmed that there is a new problem with the online server of the Dark Soul 3 Steam platform. We are investigating the root cause of the problem and will inform you as soon as we get more details. Thank you for your patience."

The last tweet on ▼ was on August 25, and officials said the server had been repaired.

CTOnews.com learned that in early 2022, FromSoftware discovered a serious security breach in Dark Soul 3, causing publisher Wandai Namenggong to suspend PvP servers for all Dark Soul games on PC.

Wandaihe FromSoftware initially said that the server would remain offline and would not resume service until the release of the Elden Ring, but the latter did not recover after several months of release. On August 25th, FromSoftware announced that the Dark Soul 3 PC server had been restored, and now there is a problem.

It is not known what caused the new problems with the server, or how long the server will be shut down.
