According to the relevant regulations, by the end of this year, electric bicycle-related enterprises should complete a series of product technical changes such as preventing modification and improving battery safety, otherwise they will not be able to obtain 3C certification and will not be allowed to leave the factory for sales, import and export. This also aggravates the elimination of backward production capacity in the market. In the upgrading of battery safety technology, the industry is also stepping up the progress of intelligent transformation. For example, the testing center of an electric bicycle group in Zhejiang said, "through big data's management, some bad phenomena of the battery can be seen in advance, and the charger can be prompted in advance to prevent overcharging. Or in the discharge process, the controller can be turned off in advance, alarm, through the couplet technology to ensure the safety of battery use."

CTOnews.com learned that according to the August news on the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Management of the people's Republic of China, in order to conscientiously implement the relevant requirements of the Safety Committee of the State Council on strengthening the 15 hard measures to strengthen production safety, and effectively strengthen the safety supervision of the whole chain of electric bicycles, with the consent of the leading comrades of the State Council. The Safety Committee of the State Council issued the key tasks and division of labor plan for strengthening the safety supervision of the whole chain of electric bicycles (hereinafter referred to as "the plan"). It puts forward 12 key tasks from four aspects: strengthening the safety quality of the production source link, strengthening the law enforcement investigation and handling of the circulation and sales link, standardizing the safety management of the end use link, and promoting the safety control of the disassembly and recycling link, and defines the division of responsibilities of the department. Among them, great efforts should be made to solve the outstanding problems in product quality, circulation and sales, traffic order, parking and charging, disassembly and recycling of electric bicycles.
