CTOnews.com, September 21, learned from Microsoft that with the 30th anniversary of its establishment in China, Microsoft announced that while continuing to implement its long-term commitment to the Chinese market, it will further increase investment in talent recruitment, park expansion, education investment and local ecology.

In terms of talent, Microsoft announced that it will continue to expand recruitment in China in the coming year, and the total number of employees is expected to exceed 10,000. At present, Microsoft has more than 9000 full-time employees in China, 80% of whom are R & D and engineering personnel.

CTOnews.com learned that in addition to expanding recruitment, Microsoft also plans to upgrade and expand its parks in Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou over the next three to five years. Since the opening of its first office in Beijing in 1992, Microsoft China has branches in 13 cities, including Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Guangzhou.

In terms of education, Microsoft announced that basic technology certification qualifications are available free of charge to all eligible students. Microsoft will focus on the latest technology applications and industrial practices in the areas of Internet, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of things, from curriculum learning, professional certification, talent docking, and technological capability enhancement to create a complete talent growth path.

In addition, Microsoft announced that it will upgrade the Sunrise Program again. By integrating existing ecological resources and building a learning and employment platform of Microsoft ecosystem, Microsoft will cooperate with nearly 100 leading partners and many vocational colleges and universities in China.
