According to the official Wechat account of the Yangtze River Delta Railway, the Huzhou-Hangzhou section of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway (referred to as the "Huzhou-Hangzhou section") of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway will be put into operation on September 22, and tickets will be on sale from 17:00 today, according to the official Wechat account of the Yangtze River Delta Railway.

On the first day of the opening of the Huhang section of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway, the railway department will operate six pairs of passenger trains. at the initial stage of operation, it is planned to operate 19 pairs of passenger trains, including 13 pairs of additional passenger trains. Passengers can purchase tickets through 12306 railway official website, station ticket window, railway ticket agency and other channels.

CTOnews.com learned that the new Huhang section of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway is about 137.8 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350km per hour, with six stations in Huzhou, Deqing, West Hangzhou, Fuyang West, Tonglu East and Tonglu.

According to the previous information, construction of the Huhang section of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway began at the end of 2019, static acceptance began in March 2022, joint survey and test began on April 28, transferred to the trial operation phase on July 6, and successfully passed the operation safety assessment of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd on September 16.

The railway department said that the Huhang section of the Hezhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway is an important node project to create a "Yangtze River Delta on the track". After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will further improve the one-hour traffic circle in Zhejiang Province and optimize the layout of passenger stations and river-crossing passageways in Hangzhou railway hub.
