CTOnews.com, September 21 (Xinhua)-- Polestar Polar Star officially released the latest research results a few days ago, which shows that 34% of consumers are in favor of stopping the sale of fuel vehicles in 2030.

Nearly half of Australians (44 per cent) plan to buy electric cars within 10 years, while 1/4 plan to buy them within five years, according to the survey. Nearly half (48%) of respondents want to ban the sale of fuel vehicles from 2035. More than 1/3 (34 per cent) of consumers want to ban the sale of fuel vehicles from 2030.

The survey, conducted by GlobeScan and funded by Polar Star, surveyed 18000 ordinary people in 19 countries in Australia, Europe, North America and Asia. The sample was designed to be nationally representative of all demographics. As a publicly listed electric car brand, from the perspective of Polar Star, the survey results are obviously beneficial to the brand.

It is worth mentioning that in the Polar Star survey, consumers from China ranked eighth out of 19 countries in terms of support for stopping the sale of fuel vehicles, while Norwegian consumers with a penetration rate of more than 70% of new energy vehicles ranked second from the bottom of 19 countries in terms of support for the suspension of fuel vehicles.

Star CEO Thomas Ingerat (Thomas Ingenlath) believes that the global ban on fuel cars must be introduced as soon as possible: "Today, only 1.5 per cent of vehicles on the road are electric, and it is clear that we are living in an electric car bubble, not during the electric car boom. More importantly, carmakers must act immediately, rather than waiting for policy changes."

CTOnews.com learned that Polar has produced two electric cars-- Polar 1 and Polar 2. Starting from 2022, Polar will launch a new pure electric product every year, and Polar 3, Polar 4 and Polar 5 are all planned.
