Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com Sept. 21, market research firm Strategy Analytics released a report predicting the growth of Bluetooth TWS headsets in 2022 and 2023.

SA believes Apple will continue to take the lead in the TWS market, but its market share will continue to shrink due to inflation. In addition, the epidemic has reduced investment, human capital and the withdrawal of global supply chains, all of which have suppressed the long-term potential growth of the TWS headset market.

The report shows that India is the country with the fastest growth in the TWS market, surpassing the Western European market by 2022 and the North American market by 2023.

Analysts believe that Apple, Xiaomi, realme, JBL, vivo, OPPO, Samsung and other major manufacturers will face the risk of reducing the share of Bluetooth devices, and Apple is expected to continue to lead the TWS headset market.

CTOnews.com has reported that the latest Canalys statistics show that global shipments of personal smart audio devices reached 98.1 million in the second quarter of 2022, down 1.7 per cent from a year earlier.

India, the world's third-largest market for personal smart audio devices, bucked the trend this quarter, with shipments rising by 55.0%, the report said. But India's growth was not enough to offset the overall decline in global markets, with the US down 1 per cent and China down 13 per cent. TWS is the only category of personal smart audio devices that has grown, growing by 8% to 63 million.

The top five TWS shipments in the second quarter of 2022 were Apple (27.8%), Samsung (9.3%), Xiaomi (5.3%), boAt (5.2%) and Skullcandy (4.1%).

Canalys said Indian consumers were rapidly turning to TWS, slowing growth in the category of wireless neck-hanging headphones to 11.1 per cent. TWS shipments in India rose 217.9% to 7 million units, accounting for 11% of the global market share, an all-time high. BoAt leads India's TWS market with a 47 per cent market share, while Noise and OPPO, including OnePlus, are in the top three, with triple-digit growth of 508 per cent and 583 per cent respectively.
