Foreign media WinFuture claims to have got the Surface Pro 9 Intel version of information from retailers, equipped with Intel Core i5-1235U and i7-1255U processors.

The Intel Core i5-1235U uses a 2 + 8 design with two large cores with the highest 4.4GHz and eight small cores with the highest 3.3GHz. Compared with Surface Pro 8's Intel Core i5-1135G7, the processor has a 22% improvement in single-core performance.

Intel Core i7-1255U is also a 2 + 8 core, with a maximum of 4.7 GHz for large cores and the highest 3.5GHz for small cores. According to the benchmark, single-core performance is 12% better than Surface Pro 8's Core i7-1185G7.

It was revealed that the Surface Pro 9 has 16GB memory, and depending on the model, the onboard PCIe NVMe SSD can reach up to 1TB, with little change in screen display compared with the previous generation.

CTOnews.com learned that foreign media also said that Microsoft is planning to launch two new colors for Surface Pro 9, in addition to the current regular silver and black, there will also be a green version called "Forest" and a blue version called "Sapphire".

According to the revelations, the cheapest i5 + 8 GB + 256GB version of Surface Pro 9 costs 1300 euros (about 9100 yuan), compared with 1179 euros for the previous generation, so if the revelations are true, the new generation of Surface Pro will be more expensive.

In addition, foreign media said that Surface Laptop 5 will also launch new products with the same Core i5-1235U and i7-1255U processors, starting at 1200 euros (8400 yuan) for the 13.5-inch version and 1500 euros (10500 yuan) for the 15-inch version.

According to previous revelations, the ARM version of Surface Pro 9 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor, 16GB memory, single-core running score of 1005 points, multi-core 5574 points.
