CTOnews.com, September 20 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- the American customer satisfaction Index (ACSI) today released its latest research on electronics and household appliances. This year, Apple once again won the most satisfied title in the PC category, beating Samsung, Amazon, Acer, Dell, Asustek and Hewlett-Packard, but by a narrow margin.

ACSI today released the new report based on nearly 10000 respondents between July 2021 and June 2022. PC categories include desktops, laptops and tablets.

"satisfaction with desktops rebounded, rising 3 per cent to ACSI 80. This improvement puts desktops at the top. Laptops and tablets each scored 79 points, with the former up 1 per cent and the latter soaring 4 per cent."

Overall, Apple's Mac and iPad experience score of 82 is 2 points higher than the desktop average and 3 points higher than the PC average of 79 (including laptops and tablets). 82 is also the score Apple got last year.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung was slightly behind Apple with 81 points, while Acer, Amazon, Asustek, Dell and Lenovo tied for third place with 79 points.

Amazon had the biggest year-on-year increase, with a 7% increase in satisfaction.
