CTOnews.com Sept. 20, analyst Guo Mingyi tonight released Apple, iPhone 14 and supply chain trend forecasts in the near future. Guo Mingyi said that after the conversion of the production line, iPhone 14 Pro series shipments accounted for 60-65% of total iPhone 14 shipments in 2H22 (vs. The previous estimate is 55-60%). IPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for about 30-35% of total iPhone 14 series shipments in 2H22, making it the most popular iPhone 14 model.

Guo Mingyi predicts that the iPhone portfolio will improve, so Apple is likely to present a positive outlook for 4Q22 at its earnings meeting at the end of October (assuming that iPhone shipments do not decline significantly after late November). If Apple has a positive outlook for 4Q22, there may be potential revenue and profit increases for the 4Q22 iPhone business, which is the main beneficiary of the iPhone 14 Pro series, including:

Yesterday, Guo Mingyi pointed out that Apple had asked Hon Hai Foxconn to switch iPhone 14 production lines to iPhone 14 Pro models, equivalent to raising iPhone 14 Pro shipments forecast for the fourth quarter by about 10 per cent.

CTOnews.com learned that at the Far Out event in September, Apple released the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, retaining most of the design of the iPhone 13-including bangs grooves for mobile selfie cameras and Face ID sensors. Apple also introduced the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, equipped with "Smart Island" pill screens to display alerts and background activities, brighter displays and AOD message screens, A16 bionic chips, new color options, and more. IPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are available for sale, and iPhone 14 Plus will be available on October 7.
