CTOnews.com, September 20, China Telecom announced that the number of users of the 5G package in August 2022 increased by 6.27 million users, and the number of users of the 5G package reached 243.6 million in August, with a cumulative net increase of 55.8 million users in that year.

In addition, the number of cable broadband subscribers of China Telecom reached 177.07 million in August, with a net increase of 930000 in the same month, a cumulative net increase of 7.36 million in that year, 105.59 million fixed telephone subscribers, a net decrease of 220000 subscribers in that month, and a cumulative net decrease of 1.05 million in that year.

CTOnews.com learned that, for comparison, as of August, China Mobile 5G package customers reached 538.79 million, China Unicom 5G package users reached a total of 194.83 million.
