Hu Xinxin, product manager of Xiaomi Civi, said on the social platform today that Xiaomi Civi 2 will be released soon and that the phone has been certified as a Weibo model.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, some digital bloggers have said that Xiaomi Civi 2, or "Ziyi", runs a MIUI V13.0.1.0.SLLCNXM system based on Android 12. The machine is expected to usher in a new breakthrough in industrial design while continuing the light and thin characteristics of the previous generation of products.

According to Weibo blogger @ Digital chat site, Xiaomi Civi 2 will adopt FHD+120Hz domestic flexible screen, support high-quality eye protection dimming, front single lighting, upgrade fast charging and images. In terms of configuration, the machine will carry Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.

CTOnews.com learned that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, released in May this year, is based on Samsung 4nm technology and contains four 2.4GHz Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. With the Adreno 662GPU, it provides 20% faster performance than its predecessor. It is also equipped with an X625G modem that enables 4.4Gbps download speed and dual 5G connections. Support for WiFi-6E and Bluetooth 5.3 as well as Snapdragon Sound and aptX. The chipset supports LPDDR5 RAM up to 16GB.
