On September 20, American billionaire Jared Isaacman (Jared Isaacman) has partnered with Elon Musk's SpaceX to start implementing the Polaris Project early next year. Now, his team is using fighter jets to simulate space flight in preparation for the first mission.

Isaacman, founder of payments company Shift4, announced earlier this year that he and SpaceX would work together on the Polaris project.

The Polaris project is likely to include up to three missions, the first of which is called Polaris Dawn. According to the original plan, the mission could be launched in the fourth quarter of 2022, but Isaacman said the launch was expected to take place early next year. Now, four crew members of Isaacman are using fighter jets to prepare for the mission.

"We can't go to space very often," Isaacman said in an interview at Bozman Airport in Montana. "We need to make a lot of plans before carrying out the mission. We want to use as much pre-launch training as possible, and training using fighter jets is very similar to space flight."

Isaacman revealed that SpaceX had "invested heavily" in the project, including the development of new spacesuits and the replacement of manned dragon spacecraft parts. The flight will carry about 40 scientific and research payloads.

Isaacman said that shortly after the completion of the inspiration 4 mission last year, he reached a cooperation agreement with Musk on the Polaris project. Inspiration 4 was SpaceX's first private orbital mission, with four crew members staying in orbit for three days, raising more than $200 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

"I didn't think I would go into space after inspiration 4, but after seeing the direction of SpaceX and starships, I was really excited to have the opportunity to participate in such a development project," Isaacman said.
