CTOnews.com learned that SpeedSmart also noticed that the average latency of Apple's iPhone 14 Pro was lower. Lower latency means that the device takes less time to communicate with the server, which is critical for live streaming and online games.

For example, the average connection delay (Ping) of iPhone 14 Pro to T-Mobile is 52.88ms, and the average connection delay to Verizon (Ping) is 37.09ms. IPhone 13 Pro was 62.20 milliseconds and 52.24 milliseconds.

Apple's iPhone 14 Pro is better thanks to Qualcomm's new 5G Snapdragon X65 baseband chip. Apple iPhone 13 Pro carries Snapdragon x60. The new 5G x65 baseband chip supports download speeds up to 10Gbps (x60 is 7.5Gbps) and consumes less power than its predecessors.
