CTOnews.com, September 20 (Xinhua)-- Apple iOS 16 has introduced a new privacy feature that requires apps to get permission before accessing their iPhone clipboard to paste text from other apps, but some users experience popups too often.

Apple says it plans to address the issue in a software update to be released next week, according to the Wall Street Journal. The report points out that the software update will also resolve some issues where iPhone 14 Pro freezes after transferring data from another iPhone.

Ron Huang, a senior manager at Apple, previously responded that pop-up windows should not appear every time users try to paste. "this is definitely not the expected behavior, and we will follow it to the end," Ron Huang added, adding that this behavior has not been seen within Apple, but many users have experienced this frequent pop-up behavior.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple does not provide a version number for the upcoming software update, but it is likely to be iOS 16.0.2. Earlier today, an Apple spokesman confirmed that the update will also address the jitter of the iPhone 14 Pro rear cameras in third-party App such as Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram.
