CTOnews.com Sept. 19 news, maintenance website iFixit today shared the iPhone 14 standard version of the dismantling video. IFixit CEO Kyle Wiens praised the device's easier-to-repair internal design, calling it the most significant iPhone redesign since iPhone X.

As mentioned in some reviews, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are the first iPhone models that can be opened from the back of the device since the iPhone 4S. According to iFixit, the display and rear glass panels can be secured with only two screws and one or two connectors, making the two components easier to remove and replace.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models are essentially "sandwiches" and consist of a display screen, a middle frame that holds most of the internal components, and a glass panel on the back. According to the internal files seen by MacRumors, as long as these parts are not damaged, Apple Store and Apple authorized service providers will be able to replace the middle frame with new components installed on the customer's existing display and rear cover glass if necessary.

CTOnews.com learned that at its Far Out launch in September, Apple released the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, retaining most of the design of the iPhone 13-including bangs grooves for mobile selfie cameras and Face ID sensors. Apple also introduced the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, equipped with "Smart Island" pill screens to display alerts and background activities, brighter displays and AOD message screens, A16 bionic chips, new color options, and more. IPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are available for sale, and iPhone 14 Plus will be available on October 7.
