CTOnews.com Sept. 19, AMD Auron 7000 processor and X670 series motherboard will be available on the 27th of this month. Now, Asustek has released a live picture of the flagship motherboard of the CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME, which is expected to go public.

CTOnews.com learned that the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme will support the next generation of DDR5 memory, the data rate is 50% faster than the previous generation of DDR4 memory, and the motherboard has a large number of hardware and firmware optimizations to take overclocking to the absolute limit.

In terms of interface, ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme provides front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 2 × 2 connector, supports Quick Charge 4V, and can realize 60W charging. The motherboard features two PCIe 5.0x16 slots ready for future graphics cards, five M.2 slots, four of which support PCIe 5.0x4 mode, and six SATA 6Gbps ports.

The motherboard is equipped with an AniMe Matrix display screen, which can display custom animation. In terms of power supply, the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme uses 202phase power supply with a current of 110A.
