(hereinafter referred to as "Muxi"), which is committed to creating high-performance GPU, is expected to launch a domestic game GPU in 2025. Yang Jian, the co-founder of the company, recently gave an interview to the Wired founder of Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily.

Yang Jian said that in January this year, Muxi's first heterogeneous GPU product using 7nm process has been officially released and is expected to be mass produced soon. The product is mainly used in AI reasoning scenarios and can be used in artificial intelligence, autopilot, industrial and manufacturing automation, smart city, natural language processing, edge computing and other fields.

Muxi's second flagship GPU chip for scientific computing, data center flexible computing and AI training has also entered the final stage of research and development and is scheduled for full production in 2024.

In addition, by 2025, Muxi will launch a complete GPU product that integrates graphic rendering, that is, GPU for display and gaming purposes.

CTOnews.com learned that Muxi was founded in Shanghai in September 2020, and its core members have nearly 20 years of end-to-end research and development experience in high-performance GPU products. They have led the research and development of more than 10 mainstream high-performance GPU products in the world, including GPU architecture definition, GPU IP design, GPU SoC design and the whole process of mass production and delivery of GPU system solutions.

In August 2021, Muxi announced the completion of a round of financing of 1 billion yuan, jointly led by two "national team" national survey funds and China net Investment. Veteran shareholders Matrix Partners China, Holi Capital, Sequoia Capital China, Light Speed China continued to over-invest. Guochuang Zhongding, Wisdom connected Industrial Fund, Shanghai Science and Technology Fund, Lenovo Venture Capital, China Merchants Jintai, Fosun Ruizheng, Oriental Fuhai, Venture Capital and Venture Capital Light Source Capital acts as the exclusive financial advisor.
