According to German media reports, Tesla sold 39714 cars in Germany in 2021. Tesla plans to double his car sales in Germany to about 80,000 by 2022, according to a German executive.

It is reported that Tesla has built the first European super factory in Glenn Hyde, near Berlin. The factory, Tesla's fourth super factory, opened on March 22 this year and currently only produces Model Y.

In June, the plant's weekly production reached 1000 vehicles for the first time, an important milestone since the plant began production in March, meaning the plant's monthly capacity has exceeded 4000 vehicles.

In order to increase production, the plant suspended car production for 12 days from July 11 to July 22 this year for upgrading.

At the end of July this year, foreign media reported that Tesla Berlin Super Factory plans to start producing 3000 Model Ys a week from October.

During the earnings call held in July, Drew Baglino, Tesla's senior vice president of powertrain and energy engineering, pointed out that by the end of this year, the weekly production of the Berlin superfactory could reach 5000 vehicles.
