There is not much difference between Exchange Server 2019 and 2016, and prerequisites for deployment are still required.

3. Install the components required for the Exchange role on the server

4.Active Directory preparation

Open Windows PowerShell and enter the following command

Install-WindowsFeature RSAT-ADDS

5. Expand the AD architecture

Direct to the installation disk, open powershell, and run.\ Setup.exe / PrepareSchema / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Execution failed. The previous account was added to the domin admins and prompted to be added to the Enterprise admins and/or Schema Admins.

Still report an error after adding Enterprise admins. It is suspected that both Enterprise admins and Schema Admins should be added, not only the relationship of or. Then I switched to the DC host for execution, which was successful. (ask the boss what on earth is the reason? )

6. Prepare AD

Now that the Active Directory schema has been extended, you can prepare other parts of Active Directory for Exchange 2019. During this setup, Exchange creates containers, objects, and other items in the Active Directory used to store information.

.\ setup / IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms / PrepareAD / OrganizationName:XXX

Do not add a suffix (eg:XXX.com)

7. Prepare domain

The final step in preparing Active Directory for Exchange is to prepare each Active Directory domain where Exchange will be installed or mail-enabled users will be located. This step creates additional containers and security groups and sets permissions so that Exchange can access them.
