CTOnews.com Sept. 18, Geekbench 5 benchmark test results of Ryzen 9 7900X for AMD 12 core 24 threads have been leaked. The base frequency 4.7GHz, single core maximum acceleration frequency 5.6GHz, still maintains the previous generation 170W TDP design and increases the cache (64 MB L3 + 12 MB L2 acceleration 76 MB).

Compared with the existing Ryzen 9 5900X, it improves single-core performance by 35% and multithreading performance by 45%. It can easily beat 16-core 24-thread products such as Core i9-12900K, which is basically comparable to the 13th generation Core i9-13900, but not as good as 13900K. Given the pricing advantage, the Intel Raptor Lake series is better with DDR4 or DDR5.

An evaluator tested with 32 GB DDR5 memory and gigabyte X670E AORUS Master motherboard, and finally got a score of 2234 for single core and 20225 for multi-core.
