It includes codes related to vehicle test centers such as ANCAP (Australian New car Safety Evaluation procedure), I-VISTA (China Automotive Research China Smart vehicle Index), Euro-NCAP (EU New car Certification Program / Center) and Korea NCAP (Korean New car crash Test).

He also mentioned that the code changes here are only related to the ADAS advanced driving assistance system and have nothing to do with the crash test.

According to the white hat hacker, "there is now Autopilot code that can identify different ADAS test protocols," he said confidently. "it can be said that they are running code for non-production models."

This may sound troublesome to Euro NCAP, who have just praised Tesla Model Y for its perfect performance in such tests.

Tesla officials have not given an explanation so far.
