CTOnews.com, September 17, yesterday, China Information and Communication Institute released a report that in the second quarter of 2022, China's mobile phones with large screen, high resolution, high-pixel camera configuration, high memory configuration and other performance features are mainly reflected in 5G mobile phone products, 5G mobile phones continue to show a high-performance development trend; mobile phone camera high-pixel ratio has increased steadily.

CTOnews.com learned that according to data from the China Institute of Information and Communication, among the mobile phones listed in China in the second quarter of 2022:

Large screen models with 5 inches or more account for 81.6%, of which 5G mobile phones account for 100% of 4G phones with large screens accounting for 59.5%.

High-definition mobile phones (HD720 and above) accounted for 78.6%. The proportion of high-definition models of 5G mobile phones is 100%. The proportion of high-definition models of 4G mobile phones is 52.4%.

The proportion of mobile phone models with more than 70% screen accounted for 79.6%, of which those with 5G screen accounted for more than 70% accounted for 100%.

In terms of camera configuration, in the second quarter of 2022, models with two or more rear cameras accounted for 64.3% of 4G mobile phones with two or more rear cameras. 26.2% of 5G mobile phones had two or more rear cameras, accounting for 94.5%.

In terms of memory capacity: among the mobile phones listed in China in the second quarter of 2022, 82.6% of the models with RAM memory capacity of 2GB and above accounted for 78.6% of the models with 128GB memory capacity and above.

The proportion of 4G phones with RAM memory capacity of 2GB or above is 61.9%. The RAM memory capacity of 5G mobile phones is 4GB and above.

52.4% of 4G phones with ROM memory capacity of 128GB or above account for 100% of 5G phones with ROM memory capacity of 128GB and above.
