Specifically, it is divided into the following four aspects:

Speed up the promotion of methanol vehicles. Summarize the good experience and good practices gained in the pilot areas of methanol vehicles, strengthen the publicity and promotion efforts, and improve the social recognition of methanol vehicles. We will support Jinzhong and other pilot areas to adjust measures to local conditions and further speed up the promotion of commercial vehicles such as methanol passenger vehicles and methanol heavy trucks.

Continue to support the development of methanol automobile industry. Promote the technological innovation capability of methanol vehicles, improve the level of technology and equipment, update and improve supporting standards, and improve the technical capacity of the whole industry chain of methanol vehicles. Encourage enterprises to face the needs of consumers, on the basis of not breaking through the existing production capacity, optimize product structure, achieve product diversification, provide consumers with more choices, and promote the promotion of private cars.

Explore the new mode of "green methanol + methanol vehicle". We will promote the implementation of the guidance on promoting the High-quality Development of the Petrochemical Industry during the 14th five-year Plan, and encourage petrochemical enterprises to develop and utilize "green hydrogen" in a rational and orderly manner. Jinzhong City is encouraged to give full play to the basic advantages of the coal chemical industry, promote the coupling development of coal chemical industry and "green hydrogen" and "green electricity" and other industries, and speed up the large-scale production of green methanol. Support the promotion of methanol vehicles and explore new solutions for carbon reduction of green methanol vehicles in the field of transportation.

Promote the study of double trailer standards. Closely follow the previous research progress of the double trailer standard carried out by the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee, and timely promote the revision of the relevant standard system according to the needs of industrial development.

The model is equipped with a methanol hybrid system, has 41.5% engine thermal efficiency and 40% energy saving rate, and the alcohol consumption is as low as 9.2L per 100 km, which is equivalent to about 3 litres of fuel consumption per 100 km, at a cost of less than 0.3 yuan per km.
