CTOnews.com, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) Tencent has launched a new taxi-hailing function called "travel service" in the "traffic travel" section of WeChat Nine Miyagi, which allows users to call a taxi online through the travel service, which currently ranks first in the "traffic travel" section of Wechat.

At present, Tencent's travel service function mainly relies on the ecology of Wechat, open access to compliant travel service providers, together with travel service providers to provide aggregate travel services for users, not Tencent's own taxi-hailing service.

Meituan has officially connected to Tencent's travel service platform in Shanghai, Sina reported.

According to reports, users in Shanghai and other cities can now open the "Tencent Travel" taxi page and see that Meituan's "economical" and "preferred" car-hailing models are offered by default. In addition to Shanghai, it also includes Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Chongqing and other cities.

In other words, at present, Shanghai residents can choose the travel service provided by Meituan through many entrances, such as Meituan App, Meituan taxi-hailing App, Meituan Mini Program and Tencent travel service.

CTOnews.com learned that at present, Tencent's travel services already include Meituan ride-hailing service, Hello Express, T3 ride-hailing service, Wanshun ride-hailing service, Cao Cao ride-hailing service, Sunshine Travel, Shenzhou Premier car, Shouqi car-hailing service and other ride-hailing services.
