CTOnews.com September 15 news, Lantu automobile capital increase project information was officially disclosed in Shanghai United property Exchange on September 13, this capital increase is the first external equity financing since the establishment of Lantu Automobile.

Before the capital increase, 89.66% of Lantu Automobile was held by Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Dongfeng Group"), and 10.34% was held by Wuhan Waya Enterprise Management Consulting Partnership (limited partnership) (referred to as "employee shareholding platform").

CTOnews.com learned that after this round of capital increase, Dongfeng Group is expected to hold no less than 77 per cent, strategic investors hold a total of no more than 15 per cent, and employee shareholding platforms hold no less than 8 per cent.

Since the launch of the Lantu brand 2 years ago, it has launched two new energy vehicles, the "performance level intelligent electric SUV" Lantu FREE and the "electric luxury flagship MPV" Lantu Dreamer. In terms of technology, Lantu has independently created key core technologies such as native intelligent electric ESSA architecture, central centralized electronic and electrical appliances SOA architecture, 800V fast charging and so on.

Sales data show that in August 2022, Lantu delivered a total of 2429 new cars, up 495 per cent from a year earlier and 35 per cent from July. Since the first delivery in August 2021, within a year, Lantu brand has delivered a total of 17891 vehicles to users across the country, and the average price of Lantu brand products exceeds 370000 yuan.

Lantu Automobile said that according to Lantu's strategic plan of "one new car a year", Lantu will launch the third car model at the end of this year.
