CTOnews.com, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) Glory tablet 8 made its debut in China in July this year and is now being rolled out to the global market. Now, the company has listed a Honor Pad X8 Lite on its website, which sounds like a cheaper version. After further verification, the device is equipped with MediaTek Helio G80 chip (MediaTek MT8786,2 × Cortex A75 2.0GHz + 6 × Cortex A55 1.8GHz) and the new Android system version.

The Honor Pad X8 Lite tablet has a 9.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The internal use of 32GB storage space is far lower than the 128GB option that Glory provides for its home users. Memory is not mentioned, hopefully it will be 4GB.

The back of the device uses a 5MP camera and there is no flash. There is also a 2MP front camera that supports video calls.

CTOnews.com learned that the device uses Magic UI 6.1 based on Android S (Android 12). The Honor Pad X8 Lite is TUV Rheinland certified and features low blue light.

Other specifications include two large speakers with short sides, a 5100 mAh battery recharged through the micro USB port, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac. There is no 3.5mm Jack.

The Honor Pad X8 Lite is listed in a new mint color on the global website and there is no information on availability or availability of LTE models. The tablet is expected to sell for less than $200.
