The disassembly video was released by the YouTube channel PBKreviews, which gives us a general understanding of the internal structure of iPhone 14 Pro Max. Although iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max look almost the same from the outside (at least on the screen), there are some significant differences on the inside.

Taking apart the video display, you can see most of the internal components of the new iPhone by removing the screen, and at first glance, most of the components look very similar to the layout of iPhone 13 Pro Max. There is a large L-shaped battery, and on the left is a logic board with the word "A16 Bionic" printed on it.

The new logic cover is actually a metal plate with a graphite pad that can transfer and dissipate heat. Apple said at the launch that all iPhone 14 models have better cooling systems and can maintain high-performance output for longer.

As previously reported, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a capacity of 4323 Ma, which is slightly smaller than the 4352 Ma battery of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Of course, Apple claims that the new machine has a longer battery life due to the optimization of the A16 bionic chip, thanks to the chip's use of a 4-nanometer process.

The big difference among Pro models this year is the new TrueDepth camera, which is made up of Face ID sensors and front-facing cameras. This time Apple placed the proximity sensor under the display so that all components could be installed in an area 30 per cent smaller than the bangs of the iPhone 13 Pro.

As we can see from the disassembly, the new TrueDepth camera module is actually much smaller, allowing Apple to create a smart island. As for the rear camera, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has three rear lenses like the previous generation, but uses a new 4800-megapixel wide-angle lens with a much larger sensor, which can be clearly seen from the inside.

CTOnews.com learned that other noteworthy components are satellite connection modules, and that there is no SIM card reader (this machine is an American version).
