CTOnews.com Sept. 15, Microsoft today released preview version 2 of Visual Studio 2022. This update addresses a series of issues reported in Preview version 1 and brings many new features. Microsoft hopes that users who participate in the test preview will continue to provide feedback and report any problems through the developer community.

Improvements to preview version 2 of Visual Studio 2022 are as follows:

Introduce the ability to roll back Visual Studio updates

Allows simultaneous activation of multiple Git repositories

Add a button to Test Explorer to reset the test to not run

CMake's strange test name prefix

Move / migrate from Preview Channel to release Channel installed by Visual Studio 2019

Arm64 support for Node.js

C++ Android developer-gradle

Arm64 support for Visual Studio SDK

Feedback on the rollback feature introduced in VS 2022 version 17.4 P1

Arm64 supports using C++ for game development.

If users want to download a copy of Preview version 2 of Visual Studio 2022, they can download it from the Preview website. The new version applies to Visual Studio Community, Visual Studio Professional, and Visual Studio Enterprise.
