Apple's official website praised iOS 15, saying that 89% of all devices launched in the past four years ran this version, while 82% of all devices used iOS 15.

Since iOS 15, Apple has introduced significant changes in the way it releases updates. It does not force iOS 14 users to upgrade. Instead, iPhone provides a choice between two software updates in the settings.

Users can receive the latest security updates while continuing to use iOS 14, and they can choose to upgrade to iOS 15 if they wish.
