CTOnews.com, September 15, according to data shared by analytics company Mixpanel, about 11.6% of iPhone installed the official version of iOS 16 two days after it was released.

When Apple released the official version of iOS 15 last year, only 8.5% of iPhone devices were installed in two days, which means people are installing iOS 16 faster this year.

IOS 16 may be a more attractive update, with customizable lock screens and widget options that bring visual changes to iPhone.

However, some iOS 16 features have been delayed, such as iCloud shared Photo Gallery, Matter support and Freeform applications, so the installation of these features will be further improved when they are launched. When the iOS system adds new Emoji emoticons, you will usually see a small jump in the upgrade ratio.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple currently offers users the option to continue to use iOS 15.7, which also prevents some users from installing iOS 16 updates. In iOS 15, Apple also allowed people to stay on iOS 14 for a while, but withdrew the support four months after the release of iOS 15.

According to Mixpanel, 78.41 per cent of users are still running iOS 15, and nearly 10 per cent are using older versions of iOS. The new iOS 16 update is available for iPhone 8 and later, and Apple no longer supports iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 models.
