CTOnews.com September 14 news, according to Shenzhen Satellite TV Deep TV News report, today, Shenzhen BYD Automotive Industrial Park Phase II project opening ceremony was held. The project is located in Xiaomo Town and Ebu Town, Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, with a total investment of about 20 billion yuan and a planned land area of about 3.79 million square meters to build a production base of core components for new energy.

According to the report, the project will be divided into three plots C, D and E in order, with a total labor demand of about 36000 people and an annual output value of about 100 billion yuan after reaching production.

CTOnews.com learned that Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, said that the second phase of Shenzhen BYD Automotive Industrial Park is expected to be put into production by the end of July next year.

Data show that BYD sold 174915 new energy vehicles in August, compared with 61409 in the same period last year. BYD sold 983844 vehicles in the first eight months, up 164.03% from a year earlier.

In addition, among the top 15 domestic power battery companies in August 2022 released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, Ningde era ranked first with 46.79%, while BYD ranked second with 21.91%.
