This means that Tesla has postponed the integration of the Steam platform on the car, but still plans to build a complete game library on Tesla's electric car. At the same time, Musk did not disclose the exact timing of the launch of the project.

According to electrek, Tesla has a team of software engineers working on games in Seattle, and Tesla recently began to build a similar team in Austin, Texas. At the same time, Tesla has been building a game platform called Tesla Arcade (Tesla arcade) in his electric car and porting the game to Tesla Arcade through cooperation with other game studios.

With the debut of the new Tesla Model S and Model X, Tesla announced that the car will be equipped with a new machine with performance comparable to the latest game console and support for wireless handles.
