Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com Sept. 14, earlier leaked Intel official PPT confirmed that i5-13600 and below models are the core of the 12-generation Core Alder Lake, and only i5 CPU K and higher models have enhanced the L2 cache, which means that i5-13600, i5-13500, i5-13400 and i3-13100 will be the vests of the 12-generation Core.

Considering that the Core i5-13600K will be equipped with both Raptor Lake B0 and Alder Lake C0 products, the Intel 13th generation Core i5 series should be an interesting lineup.

Now, the core i5-13600K, i5-13500 and i5-13400 performance benchmarks of Intel's 13th generation CPU have all been leaked.

Judging from the PassMark scores released by @ TUM_APISAK, Intel's mainstream Core i5-13600K, Core i5-13500 and Core i5-13400 CPU perform well, of which i5-13600K is significantly better than i5-12600K.

Intel Core i5-13600K: core i5-13600K uses Raptor Lake B0 chip, a total of 14 cores, including 6 P cores based on Raptor Cove and 8 E cores based on current Gracemont.

Although the number of P cores is the same as that of i5-12600K, the number of E cores has doubled. As a result, compared with the i5-12600K, this processor, which has 40% cores and 25% increased threads, is equipped with 24 MB L3 and 20 MB L2 buffers, and the main frequency 3.5~5.2GHz (all-core 5.1GHz) is significantly higher than the previous generation.

Intel Core i5-13500 and i5-13400: core i5-13500 and i5-13400 will use Alder Lake C0 chips. The former is equipped with 6 P cores and 8 E cores, with a total of 20 threads, 24 MB L3 cache, 11.5 MB L2 cache, 65W design; i5-13400 with 6 P cores and 4 E cores, 16 threads, 20 MB L3 cache, 9.5 MB L2 cache.

CTOnews.com learned that Core i5-13500 has the base frequency of 2.5GHz and the maximum Rui frequency of 4.6GHz, while i5-13400 is 2.5GHz~4.7 GHz.

From the result of PassMark single thread, the score of i5-13600K is 4249 MOps / s, the score of i5-13500 is 4033 MOps / s, the score of i5-13400 is 3866 MOps / s.

For reference, the score of i5-12600K is 3980 MOps / s in the same test, so we can see that i5-13600K is 6.7% faster than 12-generation processors. Compared with previous products, Core i5-13500 and i5-13400 are about 8% faster than i5-12500, i5-12400 and, of course, better than AMD competitors.

In other words, Intel's 13th-generation CPU will get an 8-10% performance improvement if it is priced at the same price as existing products, and the B660 motherboard supports the use of cheaper DDR4 memory, so it is believed that this generation of Intel processors will not sell too badly.

"Intel confirms that i5-13600 and below are previous generation vests."
