CTOnews.com September 14 news, with the continuous development of the electric vehicle industry, charging stations and other related infrastructure construction is becoming more and more perfect. Over the years, Tesla's super charging pile technology has been developing, and the charging power has increased from 90 kilowatts to 250 kilowatts. Recently, it has been reported that Tesla is about to start building a solar V4 supercharging station in the United States.

Twitter user @ MarcoRPTesla has discovered that Tesla will build the first V4 overcharging station in Arizona, which will have 40 charging spaces, including two barrier-free parking spaces and one designed for trailers, TESLARATI reported today. At the same time, Tesla will build two solar arrays at the charging station, with a total area of 418 square meters.

According to reports, Tesla set the charging power of the V4 overcharging station to 250kW, which seems to be to enable non-Tesla cars to have a better charging experience. If Tesla can make the V4 charging station provide a stable and fast charging experience for non-Tesla cars, it is expected to further promote electric vehicles to replace traditional fuel vehicles.

As a reference, on August 15, Xiaopeng launched the S4 self-developed overcharge pile, which has a maximum power of 480kW, a maximum current of 670A, a peak charging power of 400kW, and supports the Xiaopeng G9, known as 5-minute charging 200km (CLTC).

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the design of Tesla's V4 overcharge has been exposed, with higher V4 charging posts and longer cables than V3 charging posts. On September 9, Tesla officially announced that Tesla Chinese mainland's 9000 super-charging pile officially landed. Worldwide, Tesla has built and opened more than 35000 super charging piles.
