On September 13, according to foreign media reports, Tesla confirmed that the super factory built in Glenhead, a suburb of Brandenburg, Berlin, in 2019, was opened on March 22 this year after more than two years of construction, and the production of Model Y also began to be delivered to the public.

Like the Fremont plant in California and the super factory in Shanghai, the Tesla Berlin super factory has been increasing its production capacity since it was put into operation, with the weekly production of Model Y reaching 1000 vehicles in mid-June.

After reaching 1000 vehicles, Tesla Berlin Super Factory is also working towards a higher weekly production target. German media reported that Tesla plans to increase the weekly production of the Berlin superfactory to 5000 vehicles at the beginning of next year.

If the production is only five days a week, when the weekly production reaches 5000 vehicles, the average daily output of the Tesla Berlin Super Factory will reach 1000 vehicles, and their Model Y will be better able to meet the needs of the European market.

It will reach 5000 at the beginning of next year, which means that the weekly output of Tesla's Berlin super factory will increase significantly by the end of this year.

At the end of August, foreign media reported that Tesla's goal was to increase the weekly production of the Berlin superfactory to 2000 in September and 3000 in October. If Tesla can successfully achieve these two goals and continue to improve in the next two months, they are expected to increase their weekly production to 5000 vehicles by the beginning of next year.

However, Tesla's increase in the weekly production of the Berlin superfactory requires an adequate supply of all kinds of parts, including batteries, which could affect the achievement of their production targets if the supply of parts is affected.
