CTOnews.com learned that Apple added a battery percentage display in this summer's iOS 16 beta, which can be turned on in "Settings" and "Battery", and the status bar will always show the percentage of remaining power without having to swipe down to open the control center to see it.

Although Apple has introduced the long-awaited status bar to show the percentage of power, the design given by Apple is somewhat controversial. The main reason is that the percentage of the battery is included in the icon, and even if the battery is not 100%, the white battery icon is still completely filled, which is easy for users to think that the battery is full. Until 20% or less of the battery is left, 1/5 of the icon turns red and the rest becomes translucent.
